Late Antique and Byzantine Constantinople; Byzantine archaeology and architecture; diachronic aspects of architecture and space; cultural heritage and communities; interpretation of Byzantine heritage and public archaeology. Special interest areas include: Middle Byzantine monastic architecture; Late Antique and Byzantine fortifications and city walls; small finds in archaeological contexts; material evidence from Byzantine-period archaeology.
