Assessment, treatment and prevention of mental health conditions that significantly contribute to the burden of disease globally: depression, anxiety, and somatic-symptom disorders, called common mental disorders (CMDs), as well as suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Contextual factors determining successful dissemination and implementation of culturally-valid evidence-based interventions, particularly Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). Combination of biological, clinical, and self-report data and employ novel computational methods such as network analysis. Providing group and individual psychotherapy to adult patients diagnosed with depression, anxiety and personality disorders, and/or presenting with self-harm or suicidal urges and behaviors. Behavioral, particularly 3rd wave CBT approaches (e.g., DBT, ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
